Ducati Panigale V4 916 25th anniversary edition to unveil on 12th July
Ducati is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the esteemed Ducati 916 by launching a limited edition Ducati Panigale V4 916 edition. The unveiling of the bike will take place on 12th July 2019 at American round of the Superbike championship at Laguna Seca. This event will be attended by four times World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty.
Ducati 916 was first launched in 1994 and the production continued till 1998. It’s been twenty-five years since its inception. The 916 had a unique design, was elegant and had the least weight among the rivals. 916 at that time was truly technologically advanced, no doubt the bike was the true pillar of Made in Italy motorcycles which followed Ducati 916.

A limited edition of Ducati Panigale V4 916 will be released for the celebration of silver jubilee. The number of bike available around the world would be just 500 units. Some of these might show up on the shore of our country. The bike Anniversario 916 will be unveiled on 12th July at Pebble Beach, California.
The weekend is destined for World SBK race at Laguna Seca. Races will be held on 13th and 14th July ie, Saturday and Sunday. Aruba.it which is the Ducati racing team will pay tribute to the limited edition bike by riding it on the track covered with special livery. The livery will be inspired by the graphics of Ducati Panigale V4 25 Anniversario 916.
Ducati Panigale V4 is priced in India at Rs 23 lakh ex-showroom. The superbike draws power from a 1103cc V4 engine. This powerplant pumps out 211bhp at 13,000rpm and 124Nm at 10,000rpm. Engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission which is equipped with quickshifter for seamless shifting. Ducati Panigale V4 tips the scale at just 198 kg (wet).
