2018 Ducati Scrambler 1100 is available in two variants
Ducati has launched the Scrambler 1100 in India at Rs 10.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2018 Ducati Scrambler 1100 comes available in two different variants that are Special and Sport, priced at Rs 11.12 lakh and Rs 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
A grown-up variant of the Scrambler, the bike retains the smaller motorcycle’s layout, albeit with changes. Powering the 2018 Ducati Scrambler 1100 is a 1,079cc, L-twin engine that generates 84 bhp of power output at 7,500 rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. The standard Ducati Scrambler’s 803cc engine puts out 72 bhp of power and 67 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission and features ride-by-wire technology.
Ducati Scrambler 1100 is loaded with electronic equipments (unlike the 800) and comes with a comprehensive technology package that includes ABS, cornering ABS plus a four-level grip control system. Standard equipment also includes three riding modes – Active, Journey and City. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 also has a brand new headlight with a notable ‘X’ pattern placed within, in addition to a circular LED day running lamp integrated.
The instrument cluster comes with an extra pod that helps in exhibiting all the additional information. The bike gets twin-exhaust mufflers positioned beneath the pillion seat.

There is a multi-adjustable 45 mm USD front forks from Marzocchi and a pre-loaded, rebound-damping adjustable monoshock sourced from Kayaba for suspension duty. The Scrambler 110 Sport, gets 48 mm USD front fork along with pre-load/rebound-damping adjustable monoshock by Öhlins at the back.
