Powering the Platina 100 KS CBS is a 102cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine. The 2-valve motor develops 7.9 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 8.3 Nm is developed at 5,500 rpm. An all-down 4-speed gearbox transmits power to the rear tyre.
Speaking about the suspension, the Platina 100 KS CBS gets telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorber at the rear with comfortec technology. This technology has two springs (one soft and one hard) within each other. This ensures better shock absorption on and off the road. Braking duties are performed by Drum brakes on both the ends.
