2018 Indian Scout Bobber launched in India for Rs 12.99 lakhs and the American motorcycle company calls this model the ‘striped down version’ of the Scout. Carrying the legacy with its name the new model is stripped down and have knobby tyres, street tracker handlebar and is blacked-out on most of the parts. The badge on the fuel tank is all-new and the handle gets smaller bar-end mirrors.
Powered by the same 1132cc, V-twin engine that churns out 94hp and 97 Nm of torque, the 2018 Scout Bobber is available in five colour options – Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red, Star Silver Smoke, Thunder Black and Thunder Black Smoke.
The new Scout Bobber gets new alloy wheels, low slung- brown leather seats and slotted black exhaust pipes that provide an aggressive stance to the bike. The company also offer a list of optional accessories with the bike such as saddlebags and pillion seat.
The Indian Scout Bobber will be going up against the likes of the newly Harley-Davidson Street Bob. This is the third model from Indian in the Scout line-up with the Indian Scout priced at Rs 12.87 lakh and the Scout Sixty priced at Rs 11.99 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom in Delhi). The Indian Scout is one of best-selling Indian bikes and now, with the addition of the Scout Bobber, Indian could look at an even better sales figures.
