2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 price in India is Rs 1.10 lakh ex-showroom
Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 price in India is Rs 1.10 lakh ex-showroom. The price saw a hike of Rs 12,000 over the previous model which started at Rs 98,000 ex-showroom. 2019 Gixxer SF 150 facelift will rival against Hero’s newly launched Xtreme 200S and Pulsar 220F.
In the list of changes, you ‘ll get a redesigned headlight assembly, which, in my opinion, looks better than before. Headlight is now powered by LED technology which will be brighter and will consume less power. The side panels also saw changes with the bike now getting a split seat rather than a single piece unit. Dual barrel exhaust also changed in design and now looks refreshed.
Powering the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 is the same 154.9cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 2-valve head. This fuel-injected engine makes 13.9bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm at 6000rpm. What remains same is the no. of gears at five and the gear ratios. However, you can expect a higher top speed due to more aerodynamic fairing design.

At the launch, Koichiro Hirao, Company Head of Suzuki Motorcycles India said. “We are both delighted and excited to present the all new Suzuki Gixxer SF series in the premium motorcycle segment as a part of our on-going commitment to the Indian market. Gixxer SF is one of Suzuki’s flagship products in India and increasing its portfolio will allow us to enhance Suzuki’s much loved brand presence in the country. Designed to stand out with its cutting-edge style and unmatched power Suzuki Gixxer SF is here to win heart of the sporty and enthusiastic rider.”
Speaking of the components, Suzuki says that they have strengthen the chassis by thickening the frame tubes. The bike gets 41 mm telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear. There is 100/70-17 tyre at front end and 140/60R-17 radial tubeless tyre the at rear. Braking hardware is same as before with single-channel ABS providing necessary safety.
2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 saw the price hike mainly due to the addition of fuel-injection, LED lights as well as clip-on handlebars. Gixxer SF 150 will tackle newly launched Hero Xtreme 200S in the Indian market. In my opinion, Gixxer got necessary facelift after a span of some 4 years. However, only time will tell the tale of this new sporty commuter motorcycle by Suzuki.
