The Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 will be a limited edition sports bike instead of a mass-production unit
British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has revealed the fact that they will be taking the covers from the most anticipated sports bike of the year, the Daytona 765. However, this particular model will be called Triumph Daytona Moto2 765. Hence, it will be a limited-edition bike with production number hitting 765 units.
On the 23rd day of August 2019, Triumph will unveil new generation Daytona for the first time. This limited edition bike will be fully equipped with track-spec components. These components will be track-focused suspension, brakes, tyres and electronics as well. Not to forget the free flow Arrow Pro race exhaust system.

The company said that limited edition Daytona will be the closest you can get to a proper Moto2 track machine. It also said that the bike will have the highest power and torque figures, never seen before on a Daytona. Speaking about the Moto2 bikes, they produce 140bhp from a 600cc engine. Daytona, on the other hand, is expected to pump out similar 140bhp from its 765cc 3-cylinder engine.
The teaser image of upcoming Daytona released by Triumph shows slightly redesigned front end including subtle changes on the headlight assembly. However, the tail of the bike gets a proper rework which will enhance the visual appeal. The exhaust end-can is also different from the old gen bike.
The unveiling event will be held on the Silverstone race circuit on August 23. Two experienced riders will ride a couple of bikes on the track.
