TVS Ntorq 125
Here is our first contender which will make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift to your partner, the TVS Ntorq. This 125 cc scooter is sporty and available is a wide range of colors which can suit to anyone with any kind of taste. The Ntorq is powered by a 124.79 cc engine which is good for 9.4 bhp @7500 rpm and 10.5 Nm @5500 rpm.

Suzuki Gixxer
Suzuki Gixxer can become a Valentine’s Day gift because it is fun to ride, lightweight and has a seat height of 785 mm only. The Gixxer is powered by a single cylinder, air-cooled, 155 cc engine producing 14.8 bhp and 14 Nm torque which is good enough for a bike of its class. Gixxer does 0 to 100 kmph in 17 seconds and has a top speed of 115 kmph. Suspension duties are taken care by thick 41 mm front forks and monoshock at the rear. The suspension is pretty comfortable for long rides and a fully digital instrument cluster provide adequate information to the rider.
Safety is ensured on Suzuki Gixxer as it is available with single channel ABS. Color options consist of three colors viz., Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Sonoma Red/Metallic Sonic Silver. Price of Gixxer starts of Rs 82,000 to Rs 88,000 for ABS variant, all prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

KTM 125 Duke
Last year, KTM launched a baby Duke powered by a 125 cc liquid cooled engine. The list continues with KTM 125 Duke in the Valentine’s Day gift list. This street fighter has a power output of 14.3 bhp @9250 rpm and twisting force of 12 Nm which is achieved at 8000 rpm. The weight of Duke 125 is 148 Kg which is a little higher for a 125 cc engine.
The seat height is also on a higher side of 815 mm, But if your girl is tall, no problem at all. Duke 125 is best for a new rider as it posses the heart of KTM but a small one. The price it is available for is Rs 1.18 Lakh ex-showroom.
KTM could have reduced the price of this bike by equipping it with regular telescopic forks, thinner tyres (110 and 150 section tyres are oversized for this bike) and a semi-digital instrument console. A non-ABS variant would have decreased the price of Duke 125 by around Rs 9,000.
Royal Enfield Classic 350
Okay, admit it, girls like Royal Enfield. And a lot of girls, ride them too. So if your girl is tough, get her a Royal Enfield Classic 350. Wait, I said something wrong, most of the riders love Royal Enfield and once bought, they want to ride these tough bikes all the way to Ladakh. Classic 350 will make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift as its seat height of 800 mm is accessible to a wide range of riders.

Classic 350 is powered by a single cylinder, air-cooled 346 cc engine. This long stroke engine produces a lazy 19.8 bhp @5250 rpm and 28 Nm torque @4000 rpm. Moving further on the pricing chart, we come to a halt in front of a sports motorcycle made by TVS, yes the Apache 310RR. Your girl would love this super sports bike as a Valentine’s Day gift, given its striking design and smooth engine.
The TVS Apache 310RR is powered by a single cylinder, 312 cc liquid-cooled engine which is good for 34 bhp @9700 rpm and 27.2 Nm torque @7700 rpm. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike catches 100 kmph in under 7 seconds and tops out at 160 kmph. TVS Apache 310RR is priced at Rs 2.23 Lakh ex-showroom.
Kawasaki Ninja 400
Next in the list of Valentine’s Day gift is Kawasaki Ninja 400. This bike is insanely powerful and also a perfect track machine in under 500 cc segment. It is advised not to give this motorcycle to a newbie. Because it can leave the rider behind. Just saying.

Ninja 400 is powered by a twin cylinder 399 cc liquid cooled engine. The motor belts out 49 bhp @ 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm @8000 rpm. This Ninja weighs just 173 Kg and has a comfortable seat height of 785 mm. 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is available for Rs 4.69 Lakh ex-showroom.
Triumph Street Twin

Ducati SuperSports
Finally, we come at the end of the list of Valentine’s Day gifts. Ducati SuperSport, please don’t kill me but this motorcycle from the Italian brand is the best “everyday sportsbike” you can buy in India. Powering this beast is a Hypermotard derived 937 cc Testastretta L-twin engine which pumps out 110bhp @9000rpm and peak torque of 96Nm @6500rpm.
Supersports has a little higher seat height of 810 mm but tall riders or short riders will thick-soled boots will have absolutely no problem riding it. Ducati SuperSport has two variants, Standard and S. The Standard is priced at 12.08 Lakh and S carries a tag of Rs 13.6 Lakh, both ex-showroom, New Delhi.
