Vespa launched updated SXL 150 and VXL 150 in India at starting price of Rs 91,140.
Vespa has launched the updated scooter range in Indian market right after introducing the refreshed Aprilia SR 150. The 2018 Vespa VXL 150 and SXL 150 come priced at Rs 91,140 and Rs 97,276 (ex-showroom, Pune). These two scooters come wearing fresh attractive paint scheme and machine cut alloy periphery wheels. The new colours introduced to the Vespa 150cc scooter range include Matt Rosso Dragon, Matt Yellow and Azzuro Provenza.
At the same event, Vespa also showcased the Notte that is already on sale at a price tag of Rs 68,829 (ex-showroom, Pune). The iconic Italian premium scooter brand has been in business in Indian market for last six years and it has received pretty good response with its range of products lately. Inspired by the recent success, the brand aims to roll out more new products and equip the existing ones with more advanced features and technologies as well.

Speaking about the updated Vespa 150cc scooter range, mechanically they remain same as before. Power source for both the Vespa SXL 150 and VXL 150 is the same 150cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of squeezing out 11.4 bhp of power output at 7,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm of torque output at 5,500 rpm.
As Piaggio has revealed, both Vespa and Aprilia will introduce ABS and CBS (Combi Braking System) to all their products in the domestic market by December 2018. This will be in line with the Indian government’s upcoming safety norms that is set to kick in from April next year.
