The list of upcoming bikes in India in 2019 continues…
In the previous post Upcoming bikes in India in 2019 Part I we discussed about Bajaj Dominar, Hero Xpulse, TVS Zeppelin, Honda CB300R, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha FZ V3. Now the left over participants will be discussed here in this part. Jawa Perak, KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Bullet Trails and many more. Here we go.
Jawa Perak
First and foremost motorcycle in the list is Jawa Perak. Ever since Jawa landed three bikes in India in November 2018. Bike enthusiasts are going nuts over these nostalgic motorcycles. Jawa and Jawa 42 are up for pre-orders and deliveries will start from March 2019. Now the third bike, Jawa Perak, will be launched in the summer of 2019.
Jawa Perak is factory customized bobber motorcycle. It will be the cheapest bobber upon launch at Rs 1.89 Lakh ex-showroom in India. A 334 cc bored out version of Jawa engine will power the Perak. 30 BHP and 31 Nm are the figures you are looking for. Engine will be fuel injected, liquid cooled and coupled with a 6-speed transmission. It will feature a dual channel ABS.
KTM 390 Adventure
Next bike in the list of upcoming bikes in India is KTM 390 adventure. KTM usually launches a bike next year after showcasing in EICMA. KTM is readying Duke 390 based adventure motorcycle to launch in India in 2019. It will be called 390 adventure. The Engine and Power-train will remain same as that of Duke 390 perhaps in a different state of tune in order to tackle off-roading. The pricing of 390 adventure will come at a premium over regular Duke 390 which is priced at Rs 2.4 Lakh ex-showroom New-Delhi.
Royal Enfield Trails 350/500
These gracious looking scrambler styled Royal Enfield Bullet Trails images are all over the internet. Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of Trails 350 and 500 in India in a short time. Bullet Trails will feature an up swept exhaust, which is a complete looker. Aesthetically Bullet Trails 350 and 500 will get a red and greenish brown frame. Chrome is all over the bike. Rear fender is lifted up a bit to get the bikes running on off-road trails.
Engine and power-train will remain same as of now. The price of Bullet Trails 350/500 will command a little premium over their regular counterparts.

UM Renegade Duty Ace/Duty S
Further in the list of upcoming bikes in India we have UM’s Renegade Duty S. UM calls it an Urban Cruiser. Duty S will be powered by a 223 cc single cylinder engine churning out 17 PS @8000 rpm and 17 Nm @5000 rpm. UM delayed its launch in order to test and equip it with ABS. The price will be around Rs 1.1 Lakh ex-showroom.
Renegade Duty S will have a big brother called Renegade Ace. This Urban Cruiser will remind you of Harley Davidson Iron 883. Renegade Ace might find takers only due to its design language. The Engine and power train will same as Renegade Duty S. the price of this one will be a little more than that of Duty S. Both bikes have a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres and a claimed fuel efficiency of 41 kmpl. This could turn into a range of about 400 Km, better than most of the cruisers though. Also, both cruiser motorcycles will have LED lights all around.

Benelli Imperiale 400
DSK Benelli will retro-classic styled Imperiale 400 in India in upcoming months of 2019. Its got a 373.5 cc single cylinder engine fed by a fuel injector. Favorite figures are 19 BHP @5500 rpm and 28 Nm @3500 rpm. Not to write anything home about because Royal Enfield Classic 350 churns out 19.8 BHP from its 349 cc Engine. Discs at both end coupled with dual channel ABS takes care of braking department. It will be price around Rs 2 Lakh. Pricing will be crucial factor for Imperiale 400 as this segment is completely dominated by Royal Enfield not to mention that Jawa has entered the India market.
Piaggio Vespa GTS 300
Here is it, the super scooter. Vespa GTS 300 is a retro styled premium scooter. It will derive power from a 278 cc single cylinder engine. Favorite figures are 21 BHP and 23 Nm. It will get a analogue cum digital instrument panel. Although Vespa GTS 300 comes with dual channel ABS and traction control as standard. India specific model could get these features because GTS 300 will be a direct import for Indian market. The expected price for GTS 300 is estimated to be Rs 4 to 5 Lakh.
